LIFE GOES ON… And this means our pine trees won’t survive without water. Especially on the point of the hot summer season. That’s why our gardeners were preparing the planting holes and watering pine trees in the township during the last week.
When the temperature exceeds 30C degrees in shadow and it reaches up to 40Cdegrees in the sun coniferous plants are under stress. If the high temperature is set and there is no any rain for a long time firstly it’s necessary to adjust the irrigationregime.
Adult large-sized trees are watered twice a week, about 50 litters of water under each plant. Young trees and dwarf species up to 1m high need more frequent watering – up to 3-4 times a week. The water consumption rate is less – 10-20 litters for each tree.
